Tips/Reminders
Scholarship recipients:
- must be mindful of the conditions that apply to their scholarship;
- should refer to the conditions if they plan to change their enrolment or if there are other changes to their circumstances (eg offer of another scholarship) that may impact on their scholarship entitlements;
- must promptly notify the relevant office* if there is a change to their enrolment and other circumstances that is relevant to their scholarship.
* How to change your scholarship tenure
Students who hold a graduate research scholarship administered by the Melbourne Scholarships Office (MSO) must promptly notify the Melbourne Scholarships Office of any changes that are relevant to your scholarships. Students enrolled in:
- a PhD or one of the masters by research courses administered by the Melbourne School of Graduate Research (MSc, MIS, or MOptom) may submit one form to either the Melbourne School of Graduate Research (MSGR) or MSO to vary their enrolment and scholarship. MSGR will manage the change to enrolment/candidature while the MSO will manage the change to scholarship tenure.
- any other course must provide separate advice about enrolment changes to their faculty office and the MSO.
If you have questions about a scholarship that is not part of the Melbourne Scholarship Program, please refer to your scholarship offer letter and contact the organisation from whom you received your scholarship.
