Extensions
Approval for an extension to candidature must first be sought by candidates through the relevant faculty/graduate school office or the Melbourne School of Graduate Research (MSGR). Your scholarship extension can not be processed until your candidature has been extended ie. scholarships cannot be extended past a student’s submission date.
PhD candidates can extend their candidature and scholarship using the Completion Report Form available from the MSGR, if they are receiving an APA, APA(I), MRS, MIRS, MIFRS, IPRS, FMS or Prestigious (or other major) Scholarship.
Students enrolled in any other course (ie. not a PhD) and receiving one of the above scholarships, need to complete the MSO3 Application for Scholarship Extension form.
